If  you know me, you know I have an obsession with all things London. My passion for The Old Smoke came from our first visit last spring. We decided to stop over to London on our way to Monaco and we are so glad we did. We fell head over heels in love with the city.

There are so many nooks and crannies in this city that give it so much character and allow an endless amount of activities and sightseeing opportunities you can’t get anywhere else. That’s why I wanted to divulge my must see and necessary dos in London.

Food is always an important “to do”. My fave breakfast spot in the whole city is Chiltern Firehouse. This place boasts some of the best pancakes I have ever had in my whole life… seriously. It’s also the see and be seen of restaurants so put your fashion A game on and be sure to make your reservation well in advice as it is a hot ticket everyday of the week.

The obvious choice for shopping is Oxford street. It houses every brand from H&M to Hermes, but put your walking shoes on because the street is a long one and there’s lots to see. If you’re looking for strictly high end shopping, head to the Mayfair district. From Louis Vuitton to Miu Miu, you and your wallet won’t be disappointed.

After shopping in the Mayfair area, don’t forget to stop by my favorite afternoon spot: Sketch. Sketch is a must if you’re in London for a night or a month. Once housing Christian Dior’s collections, this refurbished house on 9 Conduit Street now contains one of the coolest rooms for a unique afternoon tea. Along with all you can drink tea, you’ll enjoy Pierre Gagnaire’s “new french” faire and lot’s of photo ops… even the bathroom is a must see.

Lastly, my favorite spot in London is a restaurant called Duck & Waffle. Nestled on the 40th floor in East London, Duck & Waffle has views for days. Great for a quick drink or an early breakfast, it is a must see to see it all.

I will hopefully be traveling to London multiple times a year from now on and will be adding to this list every time I go. If you would like to see a review of any place in London, please comment below and I will try my hardest to get there on my next trip!
