Now that the bomber jacket is the trend of the moment, there are a few key things you need to know when finding your bomber perfection. The first thing is fit. Fit, fit, fit, fit, fit. I can’t emphasize it enough. If the jacket is too small, if it’s satin, it will bunch and pull in all the wrong places (a la Tommy Boy “fat guy in a little coat”). If it’s too big, it’ll look like you are wearing your big brother’s jacket (even though it can have that “boyfriend” feel, but it’s a delicate balance). You need a bomber that’s arm seams run directly over your the shoulder bones or one that just looks kick ass on your body frame. Secondly, vintage is the best.
