I love seeing trends come full circle. I remember when I was in high school (I won’t mention what year that was) and the cut out trend was HUGE. I love seeing it in unconventional silhouettes, like a silk dress. These little bits of skin are little peekaboos of sexy without showing too much,

Like a tell my girls when styling a look “You get to show one… boobs or legs… you don’t get both”. The same is true when picking a piece that has cut outs. Too many peekaboo cut outs and you will end up looking like Edward Scissorhands or Jessica Rabbit (both are not good looks). So when looking for a cut out silhouette, the key is “less is more”. Whether it’s peekaboo shoulders or a cut out back, a little goes a long way.
